After 32 years – Neil retires

AFSA Board Member – Shane Dellavedova

Shane Dellavedova was always destined to be in the fertiliser business.  Dellavedova Fertilisers, based in central Victoria which was founded by his Grandfather and  parents in 1967 and still run by family members today

AFSA Board Member – Jarrod Keyte

Jarrod’s involvement in the ground spread industry started at a young age with the family owning and operating spreaders from the early 90’s.

AFSA Board Member – Kim Bailey

Kim has been a member of AFSA since 2003 and served as W.A. President from February 2007 to February 2009 when he became an AFSA Board Member.

Road Transport Hall of Fame – Ralph Nichol, Nichol Trading (Vic Member)

On the 26th of August Ralph Nichol was inducted into the Road Transport Hall of Fame at Alice Springs. It is a fitting tribute as Ralph has dedicated his life to the transport industry.

After spending many weekends bouncing around paddocks in the spreader with his father, Colin, it was simply a natural progression that saw John Crossling become involved in the Fertiliser industry and take up driving the spreader himself.

Managing pressure and a sense of achievement – Aaron McDougall, McDougall Fertiliser Services (Tasmanian member)

At the age of 24, Paul McDougall entered the fertiliser industry as a spreader driver with Peter Hall and some thirty years later, the McDougall family are now running their own spreading and bulk cartage business at Scottsdale in the north east of Tasmania.
