Board"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The AFSA Board is responsible for ensuring that AFSA meets member\u2019s expectations by promoting performance while managing risk and ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/afsa.net.au\/index.php\/how-is-afsa-governed\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"215\">Click here for all the key legal documents (policies) in relation to the operation of the AFSA Board<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The AFSA National Board is made up of<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Chairman<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deputy Chairman<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>five elected Directors from the AFSA membership<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Appointed directors as deemed required by the AFSA Board<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Company Secretary is appointed by the Board at their first meeting after the AGM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Executive Officer is a contracted position which is reviewed annually<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Four National Board Meetings are held each year, either face to face or via
