OH & S DISCUSSION SESSION

Gippsland Bulk Spreaders OH & S initiatives

GBS in conjunction with other industry leaders will lay out the foundation of their OH&S initiatives for your consideration and response at the conference and welcome further communications thereafter.

GBS are working with TracMap to use existing GPS technology and develop new systems and protocols to ensure farm safety, and the safety of operators at other customer locations. That technology will be integrated with best practise OH & S documentation and dynamic risk assessment training methods.

The dynamic risk assessment process takes into consideration the safety needs and obligations of the driver / operator, the production manager, other officers and directors of the company.

Other topics within the presentation would include a brief background of legal considerations that businesses need to take into consideration given recent events in the spreader industry in particular and agriculture generally.

Please note the above information was provided by GBS.
